The biggest challenge on El vals de Eva was filming a Madrid sunrise and compressing its evolution into just three minutes while maintaining continuity of light. We only had the rehearsal room at Teatro Real for one morning, so there was no room for error. We planned the exact time at which every shot had to be filmed and kept moving the piano around the room to recreate the passage of time and reconstruct that sunrise.
El mayor desafío de El vals de Eva fue rodar un amanecer en Madrid y comprimir su evolución en apenas tres minutos manteniendo la continuidad de la luz. Sólo disponíamos de la sala de ensayos del Teatro Real durante una mañana, así que no podíamos fallar. Planificamos a qué hora exacta debía rodarse cada plano y fuimos desplazando el piano por toda la sala para falsear el paso del tiempo y reconstruir ese amanecer.
