On Extreme Earth Journeys, the word “extreme” ended up being quite accurate. The project took me to places such as the Sahara Desert and the canyons of Guara, while carrying heavy cinema equipment. That meant working at night during sandstorms, dealing with extreme heat during the day, rappelling down walls or getting into freezing water with the equipment. It was a real challenge, but it also allowed us to capture some remarkable images.
En Extreme Earth Journeys la palabra “extreme” acabó teniendo bastante sentido. El proyecto me llevó a rodar en lugares como el desierto del Sáhara o los cañones de Guara, pero cargando con un equipo cinematográfico pesado. Eso significaba trabajar de noche en medio de tormentas de arena, soportar calor extremo durante el día, rapelar paredes o meternos en agua helada con el equipo. Fue un verdadero desafío, pero también nos permitió conseguir algunas imágenes impresionantes.
